Project Child Indonesia is a local non-profit organization based in Yogyakarta, focusing on providing complementary education for children and communities.
Established in 2011, we have focused mainly on educating riverside communities and coastal areas on mental wellbeing, health, environment, and disaster resilience. Project Child Indonesia has the mission to continuously bring positive impact to children and vulnerable communities through our sustainable programs.
Our vision is for every child in Indonesia to have the opportunity to learn, to have a healthy start, and to feel supported and secure living in a clean environment that is prepared for natural disasters.
Project Child Indonesia is supported extensively by the participation of a diverse group of volunteers from various backgrounds in terms of geographic location, ethnicity, and education. Project Child Indonesia endorses wholeheartedly the notion that “Everyone can do good”. Therefore, we provide the platform and tools for those seeking to bring change and good into the world.
Project Child Indonesia is legally registered as a Charity Organization (Yayasan Pelita Cilik Indonesia) at the Indonesian Ministry Of Law and Human Rights Nomor AHU-0003040.AH.01.04.Tahun 2022.
