Evi Mariana has spent all of her careers working at big corporations for their corporate social responsibility division. After finishing her Master Degree from Germany in 2018, she decided to do something different while still contributing to the community at the same time. Working for a local and community-based organization was her aspiration at that time which brought her to join Project Child Indonesia.
For her, the best part of working at Project Child Indonesia is to be able to understand the real issues related to health and the environment and think about how to implement educational programs that create impact. Also because at Project Child Indonesia the team works a lot with interns and volunteers, there is a sense of community more than just a workplace. She said that at Project Child Indonesia she is always learning, everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student. The team works together to create solutions to reach the goals.
