Project Child Indonesia’s Internship Program provides an opportunity to combine your education with hands-on work experience in our specialized field; Practical Health, Environment and Disaster Education, Creating a Holistic Learning Experience, Technology Education, and Volunteer Engagement. The Internship Program provides opportunities for anyone who is interested to join our Program Team, Human Capital Team, Media & IT Team, or Partnership Team.

Regular Internship Program
Interns typically work at Project Child Indonesia for 1 to 12 months. It varies on the intern’s position and period of internship program proposed. Project Child’s regular internship program is conducted for 6 months consist a number of fixed positions with a permanent job description in a predetermined time period.

Non Regular Internship Program
Beside regular internship program, We are also providing non regular internship program which has duration flexibility based on demand. The objective of non regular internship program is to provide a learning platform to students or fresh graduates that could only contribute for limited amount of time.

- Maintain online present for PCI’s social media by organize messages from audience and updating post

Assist Program Partnership Manager in grants research, grants filing, and grants submission.

Assist Program Partnership Manager in creating digital content Partnership-related.

To work closely under Director of Partnership and Executive Director to develop business plan.

Project Based Intern
You can propose your own project for your internship program. Applicable & Relevant project proposed has bigger opportunity to be accepted.
Requirement & Working Hours
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday 13.00 – 17.00 : Working in the office/ Program site/ online (flexible)
Reporting
- You’re required to submit monthly report during the internship period
Requirement
- Open to university students, recent graduates, and young professionals.
- Strong communication abilities and organizational skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, resourceful, and humble individuals with a willingness to learn.
- Previous work experience is not required, however, experience in the field of teaching and experience working with schoolchildren is considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a multicultural people of different national and cultural background.
Also please bear in mind that:
- PCI’s interns are not entitled to any monetary remuneration. All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation and living expenses must be provided by either the interns or their sponsoring institutions.
- The interns are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and for arranging their travel.
- Not all applicants will be accepted due to the availability of positions & projects.
Benefits
PCI’s Internship Program provides many opportunities for young people who are inspired by the ideas and works of PCI to gain more practiced skills by working on PCI’s projects. This program is open for all who are eager and excited to work voluntarily and want to directly manage PCI’s projects. The projects themselves are designed to provide the children, as our main target groups, many opportunities to improve their learning capacity. By participating as an intern in PCI you will gain more skills and improve them, these skills such as confidence, communication, responsibility, teamwork, building innovations, and also:
